This Surah is very telling of who Prophet Mohammad was, a human being, a human being that makes mistakes, minor ones of course and in this chapter God corrects him, not to be too strict with his wives on what is lawful and not, God is correcting him to take it easy, to chill, now think about it, if these words in the Holy Quran was the words of Prophet Mohammad why would he belittle himself with these minor corrections in his way of dealing with issues, there are other verses in the Holy Quran where God corrects him, again on minor issues, I found it fascinating, in the Old Testament God corrects other Prophets too, this goes to show, they were human beings like the rest of us, God (can) if He wills forgive minor sins, only minor sins and that comes with conditions, if we repent and dont repeat the sins, also there is something more important than all this said, if we take Him for granted that He will forgive minor sins, thats when you are in real trouble, then you are arrogant, and thats something He have warned about over and over again, keep that in mind friends, you take Him for granted, you are doomed.
