Ukraine can’t counter Oreshnik missile. But it doesn’t have to.

The Oreshnic missile I dont see as significant and gamechanger in any way, I doubt the 36 submunitions are guided, I think if there were to be, this would make the Oreshnik many many times more expensive than even the most expensive ICBM, I am not even sure we have small submunitions that small that are guided anywhere, I havent heard of any, perhaps the technology exist but it has to be super expensive, and useless more or less with that money per submunition to target something to destroy with that small of a warhead I dont think so, there has to be better much less expensive way to destroy a target, generally speaking Russian rockets or missiles are not very accurate or its not in the Russian military doctrine like look they are still wasting shit load of money and efforts on their Grad MRLS, shit like that they still think is still useful, I think the thought behind this Oreshnik missile is like the Grad system, the Grad of the ballistics, thats all there was to it, at best a political message, they knew it would look cool and people are dummies and would think there was something to it when it wasnt, the point is, with unguided submunitions falling at mack 10 from the sky you wont hit shit, this is bullshit.
