There are no good guys in this story between the west and the Soviets, all governments are the same, no exceptions, if fucking Zimbabwe could take over the world they would do what the colonial west did what the colonial Soviets did 99% of any government would, its human nature, you offer power to anyone tell me who wouldnt accept it take it all, I came to think of the rings of power which was offered in the Lord of the Rings, I think and this is my interpretation of it, when Sauron offered the rings to humans I think the author was talking about Eblis (Satan) and his Jinns introduced technology to mankind in various forms for he knew humans would kill itself with it eventually, and thats what too power to in the hands of men, we are after all glorified apes, see it this way, imagine you place a bunch of chimps in a zoo where you can observe them, give one of the apes a sword, a primitive sword, what do you think it will do, as soon as this chimp understand what it have in its hands it will start to terrorize the other chimps, now give the chimp a trigger to nuclear bomb, even if the chimp fully understand it will blow himself up and everyone else with him if he pushes the button, how long would you give him before he finally pull the trigger, not long, eventually he will, thats the outcome of you give glorified apes technology, you introduce him with the knowhow to build weapons, ultimately that will be the end of that wild species, technology equals weapons better more powerful weapons and weapons of mass destruction equals end of mankind, and if mankind doesnt totally wipe itself out, with the same technology it will play god and the real God will pull the plug of the show in this prison planet, what I am saying is, either way, you are doomed, thats human nature, so there are no good guys in this story, the same glorified apes run all governments in all nations, its all the same, people just identify themselves with one group of glorified apes and think of themselves as superior, superior for they think if they get their hands on more effective powerful weapons over the other groups they can enslave them, thats what mankind have done from day one but now we have almost reached the end with how powerful weapons are made, so whose fault is it, cant just put the finger at one group, that wouldnt be fair, our nature is flawed, except a very few who mind their own business and cause no trouble in the land, in the Zoo.
